That's totally possible to do and you're more than welcome to NPC any of the three named NPCs (here) for your threading purposes if you like. In general, all of them are clearly pretty low on the proverbial foodchain. Albers is covering the benefit for a small time extranet publication, Roggins is mostly there to eat fancy cheese, and Lennart is enthusiastically (and painfully obviously) trying to just get support for new regulation in his district. There's a strong implication that Sheena's measure of them was more or less correct: they might not be harmless but they probably aren't building bombs in their basements either.

It's possible there will be other, more worthwhile contacts to make at the party though! In general this is a really good idea and we encourage you to pursue it! More information about the other party goers should be available once the log goes up.
