Hey everyone!

I'm Sam, brand new to this game, and I'm bringing you Breq, from the book series Imperial Radch, the two thousand year old warship AI who, through a series of wacky events, is now permanently confined to a human body. Don't ask her where the body came from. Having spent the majority of her existence blindly annexing (often through violent measures) other worlds, Breq has fairly recently turned over a new leaf, and become a (somewhat angry) SJW. She's also started to question the nature of intelligence and independence...somewhat late for someone who is, and has always been, a sapient AI.



She also enjoys singing...like, a lot. She's always singing, or humming, unless she's talking, asleep or something is wrong. A hold over from her days as a warship, where her consciousness was spread across a thousand bodies and she was able to sing full choirs by herself. Unfortunately the body she is left with doesn't have a particularly good voice, so hopefully her brood are...patient.

Speaking of which, she's in brood ALNILAM, and her symbiote ability is UNDO (CTRL+Z), which right now, allows her to rewind time for up to three seconds, once per day!

My name is Nigh, and I bring with me Philip LaFresque, the protagonist from the Penumbra. He's your average physics professor, except he's spent the last twelve hours in a hellish, wintry landscape filled with monsters and also he shares his brain with a sentient virus who is, like, way into murder. So sort of average. Formerly average.
