Hey Pan! In the interest of not dragging everything out forever and so that the heist team can effectively get their side of things rolling, we've opted to take all y'alls preparation and do a randomized (weighted) result. It's fine to vary or embellish this as you guys find suitable/most fun but the long and short of the recon MISSION results is:
Halfway through their grudging tour of the facilities, the recon team is alerted by their backup on the waypoint (Damon seems the most obvious, but go with your heart) that they should think about getting a move on. Apparently someone on the crowded Platform Alfa spotted T-Rex headed off and tweeted about it, which spawned a friend argument about his whereabouts and then, thanks to belated input from a prominent reporter angry about their missed interview, fanned into an all out flame war which has since turned into a series of conspiracy theories.
At this point the recon team has a relatively clear handle on the first half of the path to the prize vault and is familiar with the types of security found in the ship, if not exactly what lays in the deeper portions of the craft. They may also have viewed a map, communicated with a Fair Heart crew member or generally figured out where in the ship the vault itself is - so they know how to get there, but might be exact details.
The recon team may either:
A) Boogie out safely at this point and escape The Fair Heart with this data. This may put the crew on high alert when it comes to future visitors.
-OR-
B) Continue their tour right up to the vault door until the crew gets suspicious of T-Rex's motives and apprehends the recon team. This will make the heist easier - security will be focused on the hosts in custody - but it would necessitate a rescue.
