Hi all!

We hope your December (and holiday season, if you're among those already in the thick of it) is off to a good start! We also wanted to take this opportunity to quickly address some things before we get in to AC Check.

We’ve recently received some concerns and have been working in private to address them. We apologize for the delay in posting this notice and wanted to thank you all for your patience. However, some of the feedback we received was that we can come across as difficult to approach or unlikely to intervene or mediate between players as a moderating team. And while we hope that in most situations people can talk to each other first, you can always ask for our help in either mediation or helping to facilitate conversation. We also understand that there are situations where that kind of initial player-to-player interaction isn’t possible. If there's something that you really don't feel comfortable approaching another player about, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for help.

Our goal has always been to create a welcoming, communicative game environment that doesn’t cause undue stress whenever possible, and we'll do everything in our power to help build that. In the end we honestly do believe that everyone wants to help make Station 72 a great environment to play in; we’d like to ask everyone not to assume the worst about other people or situations, even tense ones. While we understand that things can’t always be smooth sailing, it’s sometimes important to step back to consider the situation as a whole, and take the time to try to understand why someone might feel that they can't approach a situation one-on-one. Additionally, we welcome your feedback - whether it's to weigh in on how we operate as a mod team, how the game is running, how a mission is structured, etc, etc. You're welcome to touch base with us either via PM or through the Mod Contact page should you ever need anything.

All this said and done, we're really excited to be jumping into the next stages of this mission. Over the last few months, you guys have given us some great strings to pull and we're looking forward to start tugging. We'll be putting up a calendar shortly - you may notice the time scale is a little off; this is to help space metaplot out during the holidays when a large chunk of the game may have stepped away.

AC CHECK - November

This activity check covers tags made during the month of November (UTC). As a reminder, to pass AC you must have:

At least thirty (30) from you across two to five threads, including Mental Link inboxes; no more than half your activity may be from Mental Inboxes.

Any combination (15+5+10; 10+5+8+7; 15+15, etc) is suitable as long as you reach the total required comment count.

All players are required to respond to this post by 11:59 PST on the 6th. Anyone who doesn't respond will be added to the AC warning list and have 24 hours to respond before being automatically dropped from the game. If you can't make AC this round, please reply to this post to request a strike. If you take a strike this month, you'll be required to turn in a total of 40 comments across up to 6 threads during the next AC check to clear the strike and pass AC.

New Players/New Characters who have never done AC are only required to make half AC.
