NOTES
Happy Spring, all! There's just a few changes and notes we'd like to draw your attention to here. First, we've opted to NOT permanently slow the IC:OOC day ratio for now, but will instead be doing our best to maintain some flexibility for events and missions that seem to require a little more OOC time spent on them. In general we'll be gauging this by ear, but doing our best to make sure we're attentive to the needs of the community. While we won't necessarily put up a poll every time, expect some occasional check-ins on our part to touch base with y'all about pacing as is necessary. For now, we've opted to extend Avera 9 until the 22nd to give everyone plenty of time to explore their current threads and to launch into the Avera 9 pt.2 log. This will not change the IC time table at all.
Further, moving forward we've decided to implement rolling applications until the game cap of thirty characters is reached. This gives us and you a little more flexibility in terms of plotting and in-game events and takes some of the early month work load off us so we can better focus on pacing cohesion throughout the month. We should have that system implemented and ready to receive applications by April 23rd. This means that beginning April 23rd there will NO LONGER be a reservation period and that applications will slot into a queue for processing. The cast cap will remain in place.
As always, if you have any questions, concerns or thoughts feel free to throw them at us. If they're specific to this month, go ahead and use the questions thread below. If they have broader implications, head on over either to the FAQ or the MOD CONTACT posts.
