OOC + IC UPDATES

Hey all, it's another month which means another IC/OOC info dump. To stare things off, be aware that Rhys has gone comatose, though whether your characters suspect it's permanent or expect him to wake up shortly is up to you. We're also working on the upcoming calendar + current events post and need your feedback (if you have any investment in that kind of thing). To weigh in, please take a look at THIS post.

Next up, we recently realized that we as mods made some oversights when it comes to making sure everyone's on the same page with canon and symbiote ability usage in game. In the interests of making sure everyone's cool with how abilities get utilized, we'd love it if everyone made a permissions post for their abilities that other players can check in on. We've got a template below, so feel free to just tack it into the bottom of your current information/permissions post in a new comment (or however you feel like organizing it).

This is an absolute bare bones template, so don't hesitate to make adjustments if you feel that helps your playing! A good example of how to personalize a permissions post would be Missy's permissions for Aoba's scrap ability HERE. There's no deadline for when this needs to be done by, but sooner rather than later would be awesome for the sake of clarity moving forward. Thank you all for your hard work and consideration; we're sorry for overlooking this previously and hope this will help everyone out moving forward!

As a last note, you'll notice we've added a small section to the activity check for called 'Recommended Reading.' This is completely optional, so feel free to skip over it but this section is for linking something (or a couple of somethings) that you feel have particular bearing on your character recently. Maybe it's an important CR development! Maybe it's a plot point! As mods we don't have the luxury to stlak as much as we'd like to, but if there's something you think might interest us then link us to it!

We say it a lot, but: thank you guys for your constant enthusiasm about the game. We really admire and appreciate all the time, effort and energy you put into Station 72. This place would be a shell of its current self without your passion and we can't thank you enough for writing with us!

AC CHECK - August to September

This activity check covers tags made from August 20th to September 19th. As a reminder, to pass AC you must have:

At least thirty (30) comments from you across two to five threads, including Mental Link boxes.

Any combination (15+5+10; 10+5+8+7; 15+15, etc) is suitable as long as you reach the total required comment count.

All players are required to respond to this post by 11:59 PST on the 25th. Anyone who doesn't respond will be added to the AC warning list and have 24 hours to respond before being automatically dropped from the game. If you can't make AC this round, please reply to this post to request a strike. If you take a strike this month, you'll be required to turn in a total of 40 comments across up to 6 threads during the next AC check to clear the strike and pass AC.

New Players who have never filled out AC before aren't required to meet the comment count, but please reply here anyway as a check in.
