OOC + IC UPDATES

Hey fam - welcome to 2017. We hope you've had a great January and have lots of plans to kick ass in the year to come. AC this month will be running for the usual dates beginning today (the 20th) and ending at 11:59pm PST on the 25th. Only tags made after December 20th will count for AC this month.

As of right now, the current IC and OOC plans are to hang out on the Station for a little bit as we get our prospective ducks in a row and to give players time to work on some smaller scale CR plots etc. We know some people already have these in the works, but if you have anything you want to get done or need volunteers for, feel free to make a note about it in the comments section below. We're considering a CR meme to generate ideas as well. As always, if you have any suggestions or thoughts about hijinks feel free to utilize the SUGGESTIONS PAGE as well!

We also wanted to give you guys a heads up that roughly in mid-February, we'll be putting up information about the next mission. HOWEVER, the mission itself won't kick off for a few weeks after the information goes live. ICly, characters won't find out about their assignment until they're preparing to leave the Station, but we wanted to OOCly give everyone time on the front end to do some planning, plotting and - most of all - to help us build the world to give y'all a better sense of agency once you touch down. The collaborative environment of S72 is our number one priority and we feel like giving you guys more input when it comes to missions is...more better. We'll still provide the framework and trajectory, but we want to work with you to color things. Participation won't be required of course, but we'll be welcoming any and all input!

Secondly, starting next month we're moving AC. Beginning in February, we'll be running AC from the 1st through the 5th - so you won't have to worry about doing an activity check until March 1st. This should give anyone who has a strike this month an extra ten to eleven days to rack up tags, so make the most of it!

We know we say this every month, but as always: thank you guys for your enthusiasm, your creativity, your wonderful insight. We've learned so much from the past ten (and a half?!?!?!) months of running this game and we're incredibly excited to keep writing and creating things with you.

AC CHECK - December to January

This activity check covers tags made from December 20th to January 19th. As a reminder, to pass AC you must have:

At least thirty (30) comments from you across two to five threads, including Mental Link boxes.

Any combination (15+5+10; 10+5+8+7; 15+15, etc) is suitable as long as you reach the total required comment count.

All players are required to respond to this post by 11:59 PST on the 25th. Anyone who doesn't respond will be added to the AC warning list and have 24 hours to respond before being automatically dropped from the game. If you can't make AC this round, please reply to this post to request a strike. If you take a strike this month, you'll be required to turn in a total of 40 comments across up to 6 threads during the next AC check to clear the strike and pass AC.

New Players who joined the game between December 20th and January 19th aren't required to meet the comment count, but please reply here anyway as a check in.
