GAME CALENDAR: MAY 7 - JUNE 3
OOC UPDATES
As promised, we're making some changes to how game time flows and how we present OOC information for plotting and planning. As of the 7th, we'll be changing the in-game time scale to 1 out of character week = 2 in character days. We'll continue to tweak and stretch IC time if it becomes necessary for missions or events, but we're hoping this will help everyone (including us) keep track of the flow of time more easily. Math is hard.
How the calendar works: We'll be keeping one calendar post for every four week period. Generally, we'll post the calendar week by week and update this post throughout the month to reveal upcoming events as we near them. Excepting today, most upcoming weeks will be revealed at least two days in advance to allow for plotting (so expect the next calendar update on the 12th). For missions and events that require more lead time, we'll post more than one week at a time. We're hoping this will both allow for y'all to plot for upcoming events and allow for us to make tweaks and adjustments to our own plans to reflect in-character actions of player characters.
Let us know if you have any questions about the calendar system.
We've also updated the FAQ and Setting information to wrap in info from old questions and events that probably should've been updated AGES ago. Sorry about the delay. You can now find information on Host living spaces and the training facilities there.
TRIGGER WARNING: SUICIDE/SUBSTANCE ABUSE Please be aware that this week's calendar contains mention of suicide and substance abuse. It's not graphic, but we have the text whited out for anyone who might be uncomfortable with that content. Don't feel obligated to include this in your play. As always, if you wish to use potentially triggering prompts in your play, please make sure to include content warnings in your subject lines and communicate your intent with fellow players beforehand. Thank you!

I know I'm only one voice though! Obviously if the new speed does make the game more comfortable for everyone else then that's the best result.

But absolutely let us know if this ends up not being your experience. We really value the feedback.
