Hey all! We hope we had a great month and are looking forward to summer weather (...do we have any southern hemisphere players right now? If so, bundle up!). A new calendar will be going live late tonight. For now, a casual reminder to take a look at the current calendar and get signed up for the eggsitting mini-event if you care to.

Now, some mechanical changes. After this activity check, we're tweaking activity requirements and how activity check works for new characters. This is to encourage logging and mental posts in the comm proper, particularly during missions.

NEW PLAYERS/CHARACTERS will no longer have a freebie check-in month. Instead, new characters will be required to make half AC during their first month. If an applicant arrives in game more than halfway through a month, they will be required to make a quarter AC. Because of this, we'll no longer be processing apps and hatching new characters in the last week of the month.

GENERAL AC REQUIREMENTS will remain at the thirty comments per month, however mental link comments can now only make up a maximum of half your AC proofs (so no more than 15). All your comments in game regardless of venue can still be counted for AP.

This won't change anything for this activity check period, so this week is business as usual. But otherwise if you have any questions, comments or concerns don't hesitate to drop us a note in the questions section below.

AC CHECK - May

This activity check covers tags made during the month of May. As a reminder, to pass AC you must have:

At least thirty (30) comments from you across two to five threads, including Mental Link boxes.

Any combination (15+5+10; 10+5+8+7; 15+15, etc) is suitable as long as you reach the total required comment count.

All players are required to respond to this post by 11:59 PST on the 5th. Anyone who doesn't respond will be added to the AC warning list and have 24 hours to respond before being automatically dropped from the game. If you can't make AC this round, please reply to this post to request a strike. If you take a strike this month, you'll be required to turn in a total of 40 comments across up to 6 threads during the next AC check to clear the strike and pass AC.

New Players/New Characters who have never done AC aren't required to meet the comment count, but please reply here anyway as a check in.

You actually can count comments form any month for your AP as long as you haven't used them to collect AP before. So let me know if you want to tweak anything, otherwise you're good to go as far as AC is concerned. Thank you!
