CALENDAR OVERVIEW

November 1st - 18th
DAY :021 - :023
       DAY :021
• Moving from the Graze, the pilgrimage boards the Second Flight for a two day airship trip over the tangled expanse of the Finger Maze. Kick back and relax - no one expects anything of you for the duration of the cruise and the ship is far safer than traveling through the Finger Maze proper would've been.

• --or, you know, it is for most people. Around midday, the bodies of two familiar Carpathans are discovered in one of the Second Flight's grotto hot baths.

       DAY :022
• Murder on the Hyrypian Express. [a log will be posted for days 21-22]

       DAY :023
• The Second Flight touches down on the far side of the Finger Maze at mid day. It's a half day's walk to the Red Coast.
• [DROPS] The Darkling slips into a coma during the night.

November 19th - November 25th
DAY :024 - :025
       DAY :024
• Seaside beach episode! Do some arts and crafts, go fishing, make a basket, engage in politicking and intrigue.

       DAY :025
• The hatch. While older hosts enjoy the...blood ocean..., somewhere between the multiverse new hosts awaken.

November 26th - December 9th

       DAY :026
• New hosts arrive on Hyrypia.

       DAY :027
• Once upon a time, the Descendants got into this war to broker peace between embittered factions. It seems a familiar face wants to take up that banner in light of the recent bloodshed.

HEY MODS. So, Pidge wants to get a look at the engine room and she's prepared to either talk her way in or sneak her way in to see what she can find out about how they keep this thing flying and moving through the air (as well as possibly fiding out more information about what everyone else on this stupid ship is planning). Any possibility of her doing that? OR is it a closely guarded secret?

Entry into the engine room may be difficult, but not impossible (especially if she's making use of her symbiote ability to stealth along). If anyone catches her in the engine room, they'll definitely escort her our of it for her own safety (and just because you don't want any old rando in the working space of a highly technical machine; they don't care who you are or how interested you are in the equipment etc).

The engine room itself is very much a working space. It's tight quarters considering of a main corridor and an upper matching series of catwalks flanked by huge machines roughly three Hyrypians tall. The machines are laregely enclosed behind transparent glass-like access panels so that the main mechanics are visible but protected. Each panel has an series of latches that allow for the removal of the cover. The engine room closely resembles being on the inside of a truly massive clock whose fundamental purpose seems to be keeping the large spinning disks and interlocking rings which power the propulsion of the engines moves.

These functions are half automated and half maintained by careful supervision and adjustment by a crew of five, though none of the Hyrypians present appear to be Seconds or general technomancers of any kind. If anything, they are engineers and mechanics and seem to operate the massive, brass- and steel-like machines entirely mechanically. Though it's clear the engines themselves are Nectar fed, much like the Elin it appears they don't require a technomancer to operate.

There isn't much gossip happening (they're on the clock after all), but in general the engine crew seems to be fairly removed from the politicking aboard the airship. The murders are unarguably a point of gossip, but they don't seem to be any more well informed than anyone else

Any chance at finding an input/fuel line of some sort and siphoning some nectar for sampling purposes?

Sure! (It's also probably possible to dismantle lights and other minor technomanced technology around the carbauschian berth to exact very small samples of nectar, but acquire it however you like).

Is there any particular reaction to Pidge and Shiro helping to break up that scuffle?

They've likely earned themselves a wide berth from the individuals in question, but everyone's nerves are brittle enough at present that there doesn't seem to be any immediate fallout.

folks can i request an update on ooze baby? should there have been any developments or is it still trucking along at relatively the same size and habits?

Yes you can! For the most part there have been no major changes, physically at least. Ooze baby has been pretty much trucking along. While it did just have his month birthday a little bit ago it still does a lot of clinging, and anywhere it clings to for too long tends to get coated in… secretions. When it's down on the ground though it's taken to poking his nose into things- so best not to lose track of it, especially since it seems to like the Red Coast quite a lot, and if left unattended it will begin to exhibit a tendency to toddle off. While it would eventually return it may be a harrowing time for any hosts who notice it's gone missing without any idea as to where it's gone. It also seems to really really really dig the fish that's so common on the coast as well, so don't leave your plate unattended.

when are the coma'd characters going to be coma'd?

Short term (hiatus) coma characters will coma whenever it's convenient dramatically - their players can either select when they go under, or the exact timing can tinkered with according to player needs. More long term comas (drops) will be noted on the calendar (in this case, it'll be on - spoilers - on Day :024).
